As an interior design and styling studio, we curate, decorate, and transform spaces by pairing custom-designed pieces with rare, collected objects discovered through our travels. Serving the Washington metropolitan area and beyond, our atelier offers a full spectrum of services interior decoration, bespoke styling, and dedicated vintage and contemporary sourcing finds.

Casa Prāta draws inspiration from the word 'Prāta', meaning 'silver' in Portuguese and my name 'Prarthna' signifying 'prayer' or 'seeking' in Hindi, my native language. Much like silver, which develops a beautiful tarnish over time, objects with a natural patina or imperfections possess a timeless appeal that has always captivated me.
This profound connection with the allure of patina, combined with my quest to seek rare objects and nourish my soul, led me on a journey to Portugal, ultimately bringing Casa Prāta to life.
